I'm a self-taught artist from Elizabethtown, NY, in the Adirondack Mountains. Drawing and painting have always been a part of my life, a way to document and decorate my time. While attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, I lived in an RV in a Fresh Direct parking lot in Long Island City, Queens, for two years-swapping rent payments for a mobile studio apartment. By day, I studied advertising and marketing; by night, I slept in a grocery distribution lot, surrounded by others making their own rules-people living in sailboats and RVs, stealing electricity from streetlights, watching boats sink during storms, and waking up to the sound of the Long Island Railroad screeching 50 feet behind my head. No Wi-Fi. No cable. Just paint, sketchbooks, and whatever came next.
I moved back to the Adirondacks after graduation and a few years later moved to Savannah, GA. I set up shop in Forsyth Park, selling artwork to whoever was strolling through the park. Eventually, that led to solo shows around the city, but the method stayed the same - documenting time and space with color and structure.
I'm currently living in the southern Adirondacks and focusing on painting and booking murals for the 2025 spring and summer season for homes and businesses.
